MISSION STATEMENT

At DMBell Educational Enrichment Services, our mission is to empower justice-impacted individuals, youth, and underserved communities through transformative learning from workforce development opportunities that build confidence, purpose, and pathways to a brighter future.

About DMBell Educational Enrichment Services

DMBell Educational Enrichment Services provides high-quality workshops that empower individuals to achieve their goals. We are dedicated to helping individuals learn new skills and knowledge that they can apply in their personal and professional lives.

We partner with nonprofit organizations serving justice-impact, unemployed individuals, and youth transitioning out of the foster care system to help them gain the employability skills and personal growth tools needed to thrive in today’s job market.

About The Founder

Dr. Donna Madison-Bell is the founder of DMBell Educational Enrichment Services, an organization dedicated to empowering justice-impacted individuals, unemployed adults, and youth transitioning out of foster care through workforce development and transformational learning experiences. Through high-quality workshops, DMBell Educational Enrichment Services helps individuals develop employability skills, a sense of purpose, and practical tools for personal and professional success.

Dr. Madison-Bell is a transformative educator, leader, and criminal justice reform advocate with over 20 years of experience developing innovative curricula and delivering engaging instruction across K–12, higher education, and vocational training. Dr. Madison-Bell holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership with a specialization in Curriculum and Instruction. Her dissertation examined the impact of nonprofit and faith-based volunteers in correctional institutions and their role in reducing recidivism, reflecting her longstanding commitment to justice-impacted populations. Her work is grounded in both research and real-world experience, having taught in county jails across the San Francisco Bay Area, Bowling Green Kentucky, Fort Lauderdale Florida, and volunteered for five years at San Quentin State Prison.

As a Workforce Development Instructor at a Day Reporting Center in Oakland, California, Dr. Madison-Bell helped formerly justice-impacted individuals rebuild their lives through education, confidence-building, and job readiness. She also served as Director of Career Services at Heald College, where she built strong partnerships between educators, employers, and community organizations to enhance the development of career pathways.

Currently serving as a Professor, Dr. Madison-Bell continues to advocate for equity, opportunity, and dignity through education. Her leadership is marked by integrity, compassion, and a deep commitment to helping individuals reclaim their future and build brighter lives.

Workshop Sessions

Purpose and Goals of Our Career Development Workshops

Our Career Development Workshops are designed to equip justice-impacted individuals and the youth with skills and practical tools needed to succeed in today’s workforce. These workshops are more than job readiness training; they are opportunities for personal growth, empowerment, and long-term stability.

The purpose of each workshop is to help participants discover their strengths, set achievable career goals, and develop the professional skills required to gain and maintain meaningful employment. Whether individuals are reentering the workforce, entering for the first time, or seeking better opportunities, our sessions provide guidance and encouragement at every stage of the journey.

Organizations may choose a complete workshop series for a comprehensive workforce development experience or select individual sessions to meet their clients' specific needs. Our flexible approach allows organizations to receive training that is relevant, practical, and tailored to real-world challenges.
